It’s almost spring, which means PaasIJ is back! We’ve brewed PaasIJ every spring since 1989, so of course you can enjoy this Amsterdam classic this spring as well. You’ll find PaasIJ in our own pub, cafes, supermarkets the better liquorstore.
PaasIJ is a light amber beer with a characteristic soft and light spicy flavour. The aromas of fruit, coriander, yeast and hop are in great balance. We’ve brewed this early spring bock with light roasted malts, so you can taste the subtle bitterness of the beer. The aftertaste is light sparkling with a long-lasting freshness. In short: an excellent beer for the first sunny days of the year.
