Una Paloma Panja! A summery combo of ‘t IJ beer and a Paloma cocktail with grapefruit, lime, and Tecán tequila. The perfect serve? Presented as a cocktail with plenty of ice and garnished with lime or grapefruit.
We brewed this new and surprising combination together with Waterkant in Amsterdam. Our brewer Allard got to work and came up with a fresh recipe. To complete the smooth and particularly refreshing recipe, and to keep it local, the Amsterdam tequila brand Tecán was added to the mix.
Illustrator Nawwin Huizinga, who enjoys being inspired by nature and the quirks of life, was invited to design the can for Panja Paloma. The result is an illustrious, colorful Panja dove – ‘Panja’ meaning ‘being under the influence’ in Surinamese. The collaboration turned out to be a perfect match, as the design makes the cheerful can instantly come alive.
