At Brouwerij ‘t IJ, we have been brewing Amsterdam craft beers since 1985. All our distinctive beers are brewed in the traditional manner, without filtering or pasteurisation giving them their own unique character and fine, full flavour.
Our brewery has two locations, both in the eastern part of town, and you’ll find the oldest and most famous one right under the Gooyer windmill. This is also where the brewery began, and where the bar is located. A few hundred meters down the road we have another brewery, on Zeeburgerpad. All IJ-beers are brewed in our own breweries in Amsterdam.
