We added some more hop to our wheat beer, the IJwit. Normally we only use hops during the boiling stage of the brewing stage. Now we added hops during the ripening stage, the so-called lagering, too. This extra flavouring with the dried, compressed hops is called a dryhop. We therefore labelled the resulting beer Dryhopped IJwit. It’s a tasty, hoppy new take on one of classic.
