Café Struis
Next to our tasting room, you’ll also find Café Struis under the mill, opened in 2023.
The opening hours and menu here are just a little different. Alongside all of ’t IJ’s beers, you can also enjoy a good cup of coffee, and the bright yellow terrace often lets you catch a bit more of the sun.
Café Struis also hosts ongoing exhibitions. You’ll always find a selection of painted ostrich eggs from our Easter exhibition Eggshibition. In addition, a local Amsterdam artist is always on show at Struis, meaning there’s a fresh art collection to admire each time you visit.
Café Struis can also be hired exclusively for your party, a meeting or any other occasion. Read more here.

Brunch at Café Struis
At Café Struis, we’re open every day from 10:00 for your cup of coffee, breakfast, lunch, and of course a good glass of IJbeer afterwards.
It’s a great spot in winter too. The terrace is heated, and inside it’s warm and cosy. It's a place where you can happily stay all day.

Alongside brewing exceptional beers, we at ’t IJ also know how to throw a great party. And there’s no better place for it than under the mill at Café Struis. This is the perfect spot to celebrate your birthday, company drinks or a private family gathering. Or use the space for a meeting or any other occasion.
